
In a dramatic development, Russian security services have detained two Colombian nationals on suspicion of participating in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The Federal Security Service (FSB) identified the men as Medina Aranda Jose Aron and Ante Alexander, accusing them of serving as mercenaries in the Ukrainian military.
The FSB’s investigation revealed that the suspects were allegedly involved in hostilities against Russian forces, fighting under the banner of the Carpathian Sich battalion. During searches, authorities reportedly discovered uniforms bearing the battalion’s insignia, further implicating the men in the conflict.
