Manchester United took a massive step toward the Europa League final with a commanding 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of the semifinals.
Casemiro opened the scoring in the 31st minute, heading home from a brilliant cross by Ugarte. Bruno Fernandes doubled the lead just six minutes later with a composed penalty after Rashford was fouled in the box.
In the second half, Ugarte provided another assist, setting up Bruno for his second goal of the night to seal the victory.
It was a clinical and confident performance from United, giving them a strong advantage heading into the second leg.
